my 16 month old grandson loves llama llama books and so i gifted this one to him before christmas. by christmas he had worn his parents out by choosing THIS book to be read (studied)over and over again. not sure what it is that makes him love llama llama books, but the rhythm and rhyme are wonderful in the book. the illustrations are large and uncomplicated. my grandson loves to study each page and we all believe he understands (and relates to) the baby llama llama meltdown in the book.

My son loves the Llama Llama book but this one is my least favorite. It's not very clever or as interesting. It feels like someone just wrote it real quick to put out a holiday book.
My grandson enjoys reading this over and over. The story line is cute, there's rhymes, cute pics and a good moral ending. It's great for children to see how Llama llama progresses and learns a valuable lesson.
Love these books. It’s realistic and down to earth with good messaging to ease kids surrounding the holiday bustle while pointing out what’s important.
The Book is nice, great colors and nice size. However the book jacket (cover) has a small torn hole in the back side also it feels like someone with dirty hands held this book. There are prints on the back! Not the shape i expect a new book to have when it arrives! Bummer!
This book is so cleverly written; it's fun for kids and adults alike. Will definitely make you chuckle.
Not my favorite children's Christmas. My almost 3 year old granddaughter wasn't interested. I'll try it again next year when she is older.
Llama Llama spends all of December helping his Mama prepare for Christmas, and it’s a long wait for the big day! While I don’t feel that the rhymes roll off your tongue the way the previous Llama books do, each rhyme show us more pre-Christmas activities like decorating the house, baking and shopping for gifts, all in preparation for Christmas that seems ice ages away for little Llama. The book shows that Llama is a good sport for helping out, he learns patience and teamwork and the fun you can have just getting ready for a special holiday. And after a mini meltdown when the waiting gets the best of him, Mama sweetly explains that we do all those things to get ready for spending a perfect day of being together as a family. This book is a good purchase if you are looking for a gift to give a child around the holidays. Better give it to them early so they don’t have to wait forever like Llama!
